In a tough physical encounter with Higher Bebbington Kelma, Whitegate fell short suffering a 6-3 loss. The side from the Wirral are a good footballing side and they showed this during the game. The scoreline does not reflect the game with Whitegate proving to be touch oppostion. Whitegates goals came from Kev Beresford and a double from Ben Purdue with one coming from the penalty spot after Sam Ellwood was brought down.
